Peer Review Process

The Journal of Entrepreneurship, Advanced Innovation, and Business Impact (JEAIBI) implements a rigorous double-blind peer review system to ensure fairness, objectivity, academic quality, and research integrity throughout the publication process.

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, relevance, and contribution to the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, digital transformation, and business development.

Review Workflow

Initial Editorial Screening

All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned editors to assess:

  • relevance to JEAIBI’s focus and scope,
  • originality and academic contribution,
  • manuscript structure and formatting compliance,
  • ethical considerations and plagiarism screening.

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s basic standards or submission requirements may be returned to the authors without external review.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are forwarded to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript topic.

JEAIBI applies a double-blind review process in which:

  • the identities of authors are concealed from reviewers,
  • and reviewer identities remain anonymous to authors.

This process is intended to maintain impartiality, confidentiality, and objective scholarly evaluation.

Reviewer Evaluation

Reviewers assess manuscripts based on several academic criteria, including:

  • originality and novelty,
  • theoretical and practical contribution,
  • methodological rigor and research validity,
  • clarity of presentation and argumentation,
  • relevance to the journal’s aims and scope,
  • ethical compliance and academic integrity.

Reviewers are encouraged to provide constructive, professional, and evidence-based feedback to support manuscript improvement.

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer recommendations and editorial evaluation, the editorial team may decide to:

  • Accept the manuscript,
  • Request minor revisions,
  • Request major revisions,
  • Reject the manuscript.

Authors will receive anonymized reviewer comments and editorial feedback through the journal system.

Revision and Resubmission

Authors requested to revise their manuscripts must address all reviewer comments carefully and resubmit the revised version within the specified timeframe.

Depending on the extent of revisions, the manuscript may:

  • undergo an additional editorial assessment,
  • or be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation.

Final Decision

The Editor-in-Chief holds the final authority regarding manuscript acceptance and publication decisions based on reviewer evaluations, editorial considerations, and the journal’s academic standards.

Review Timeframe

The peer review and editorial process generally takes approximately:

  • 4–8 weeks for initial review,
  • depending on reviewer availability, manuscript quality, and revision requirements.

JEAIBI strives to maintain an efficient and transparent review timeline while ensuring rigorous academic evaluation.

Ethical Review Principles

All review activities within JEAIBI are conducted confidentially and ethically.

Reviewers are expected to:

  • maintain confidentiality of manuscript contents,
  • avoid conflicts of interest,
  • provide objective and unbiased evaluations,
  • refrain from using unpublished materials for personal benefit,
  • and support academic integrity throughout the review process.

The editorial team reserves the right to take appropriate action in cases involving ethical concerns, plagiarism, data manipulation, authorship disputes, or other forms of research misconduct in accordance with COPE principles and international publication ethics standards.
